Handy set of posts:
Post Dye-Update Guide

Generally a hot pink is red+purple (which makes a strong magenta in my opinion) and depending on the type of armour, it dyes differently. The above guide should prove useful.

Umm, could someone explain to me why pink is so sought after? Half the requests for colour combinations are for pink.

Nothing against the colour, mind, just wondering.

Iuris, I think it may because a fair amount of people like it as a colour, it's hard to get and some people like to have 'girly' characters or 'manly' characters (real men wear pink, after all). I'm putting pink on my 15k Glads as it goes well with blonde hair and I think it's cute. That and I own no pink clothing (doesn't really suit me, have a fuschia V-neck knit thing though).

Dyes have never been quite the same since dye remover was replaced by grey dye.

I got this result using red purple and dye remover

There is a good guideline on dye mixing which can be found here

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=25784

edit Just ignore references to dye remover which no longer apply

Brown + Purple
Red + Purple
Orange + Purple

As far as I know, they're pink... try 'em all out see which is best.
